What Differentiates this Course?

Unique organisational expertise and instructors

We have been engaged in delivering Enterprise Architecture (EA) work as consultants and prac-titioners since 1989. Frameworks used include Zachman, TOGAF®, FEAF, Gartner, Meta, Inspired, PEAF, DODAF and others.

We have developed unique EA capabilities, techniques and expertise. Inspired has integrated the TOGAF® standard with other methods, including ArchiMate®, and produced integrated meta models to provide TOGAF® and ArchiMate® capabilities within EA toolsets.

We understand EA in depth, having been involved in scores of projects locally and internationally across a wide range of industries including finance, assurance, retail, telecommunications, services, healthcare, government, education, manufacturing, software, energy and media.

We have developed TOGAF® accredited training, are licensed as a TOGAF® services provider and have created certified support in EA tools. Our typical instructor will have over 15 years EA experience. Since 2008, we have trained hundreds of delegates who have certified and gone on to practice effectively as architects worldwide.

Case Study

The comprehensive case study, based on three real world EA projects, provides delegates with a much richer appreciation for the scope and subtlety of issues in real EA projects than typical class exercises.

Hands On

Delegates will do individual and team assignments to apply knowledge and experience techniques first hand. This enhances learning and provides delegates with more confidence and a faster start when returning to their organisations.

Longer Course

Some courses are offered over four or even three days. We do not believe that these provide sufficient time for proper coverage of all the topics required to understand the TOGAF® standard fully or to prepare for certification properly.

Additional Coverage

The TOGAF® Standard is valuable and extensive, but not perfect! Our extensive expertise allows us to supplement the TOGAF® approach in key areas to make it even more effective and valuable.

High Quality Delegate Materials

Includes electronic reference, pocket guide, self study guides for levels 1 & 2, slides, case study, worked examples and additional references.

We also provide ongoing access to extensive alumni materials for further learning.

Content and Structure

This course covers the body of knowledge required for TOGAF® certification at Levels 1 and 2. The course is accredited by The Open Group and conforms to TOGAF® Standard 10th Edition. Successful delegates, after passing the independent examination, will be registered with The Open Group as certified TOGAF® EA Practitioners and Foundation Architects, becoming part of a select international community.

The course is about more than just certification however, as the training goes far beyond simply covering the body of knowledge from the TOGAF® manual. Additional material over and above TOGAF® documentation is provided in order to put EA and modern architectures such as Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) into perspective. An in-depth case study based on real world projects shows application of techniques through a typical architecture implementation lifecycle. The 16+ practical assignments completed during the five days of training, learning from other delegates and the experience and expertise of the lecturer(s) combine to create a sound, practical, effective and compelling learning experience.
